REE Personal Finance Tracker

A private, offline personal-finance app for wallets, subscriptions, debts, and savings goals.

My partBuilt solo

In short

A Flutter desktop personal-finance application for multi-wallet transactions, subscriptions, debts, savings goals, and local insights, with local SQLite storage.

What it is
A Flutter desktop personal-finance application designed as a private, keyboard-aware, offline-first workflow.
Why it matters
Finance tools that begin with a dashboard hide the repeated work of records — wallets, income, expenses, transfers, subscriptions, debts, and goals — that dashboards are built on.
My part
I built it on my own.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Record

Wallets, income, expenses, transfers, subscriptions, debts, and savings goals are entered efficiently, with bulk entry as a core workflow rather than a hidden setting.

  2. 2

    Store

Data lives locally in SQLite. The app starts and remains useful without an account or continuous network connection.

  3. 3

    Analyze

Monthly and yearly analysis, subscription tracking, and debt visibility emerge from records the user can inspect.

  4. 4

    Recover

Backup and export are essential; local ownership without recovery is fragile.

How it works

REE targets Flutter desktop with a clean data / domain / presentation split and local SQLite storage. Multi-wallet accounts, categorized transactions, bulk entry, subscriptions, debts in both directions, savings goals, and monthly and yearly analysis are first-class workflows.

Limits

  • Long-term reliability is the next bar to clear: migration tests, backup restoration, import validation, and rounding and currency handling.

Keywords

  • personal finance

  • local-first

  • offline-first
